IDL 6.4 is out.

The PDF version of Analyst document is included in the IDL Help HTML documents now. A good improvement.

Good news--IDL Analyst is now part of IDL 6.4 (and the Help documents, too). No need to install extra plug-in now. But, an extra license for Analyst is still required.
