It's a tragic day for me today. My 320GB Hitachi SATA USB harddisk failed to appear in Explorer of Windows XP. The testing program reports many many "unreadable sector" errors. About 320GB data (much of them are important backup data) were lost. It seems no way to get them back.
So, I should make it obligatory to make a copy of my most important files in the future.

Maybe it's not the fault of the harddisk itself. The USB did not function normally yesterday when I connect another usb-harddisk. It's terrible.
The disk proves to be unrepairable. The salesman must replace it with a new hard disk. I lost all my data and haven't so much confidence on the USB-harddisk security now.
